The USA Men's Wheelchair Basketball Team, led by consistent perimeter shooting by guard Jeremy Lade, wrapped up the final day at the Roosevelt Cup by defeating Canada and winning the championship. The final score was USA 70 to Canada 63. "The team feels really good about what we have accomplished in the last 6 weeks. It seems we are gelling at the right time heading into the Paralympic games," says team captain, Paul Schulte. Chambers led the team in scoring with 15pts, Schulte and Paye both had 11pts.
The USA team will get together in early August one final time before departing for the Paralympic games. The Paralympics will be held in Beijing, China, September 6 through the 17th.

Well Day one of the tournament (formally known as the Roosevelt Cup) wrapped up with a big win for USA as they defeat Canada 74 to 70! Paul started off the game hitting 3 for 3 from the 3 point line to start the momentum for Team USA.
